Katherine Tezanos, PhD
Biography
Dr. Tezanos is a T32 postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University upon completing her clinical psychology residency at Brown University in the Clinical Child Track. As a postdoctoral research fellow, Dr. Tezanos collaborates with many CRISP members on ongoing projects. Dr. Tezanos’ own research interests include studying and improving the assessment and prediction of suicidal thoughts and behaviors in youth populations. With the mentorship of Dr. Jennifer Wolff and Dr. Anthony Spirito, her current research is focused on using multiple units of analysis to develop a comprehensive characterization of child-caregiver conflict and its association with suicidal thoughts and behaviors in children.Â
