Brown University has a partnership with the local hotels listed on the Brown Travel Portal and has negotiated special discounted rates at these hotels. Booking through the Portal benefit by automatically receiving a reduced rate. Booking through the Portal also generates data that Brown is able to use for advocacy and public relations purposes to highlight the business that Brown is driving to the local hotels in particular and local economy in general.

Airports

• T. F. Green Airport (PVD) in Warwick, RI, is our closest airport, a 20-30 minute commute.  
• Logan Airport (BOS) in Boston, MA, is approximately a 1 hour, 15 minute commute.

Train

The Amtrak Train station is located in downtown Providence. It is a short walk or cab ride to hotels listed on the Brown Travel Portal.
