Ana Rabasco, PhD
Biography
Ana Rabasco, PhD, is a suicide research T32 postdoctoral fellow in Butler Hospital’s Psychosocial Research Program through the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she also completed her clinical psychology internship. She earned her BA in psychology and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies from Colby College in 2015. Ana completed her doctoral training in clinical psychology at Fordham University in 2023, under the advisement of Dr. Peggy Andover. Currently, Ana works under the mentorship of Dr. Brandon Gaudiano on research related to suicide, serious mental illness, treatment development and implementation, and the role of social and societal factors in suicide risk, including minority stressors, social isolation, and internalized stigma.
